Support the Work

The offerings on this blog, the design work, research, and tools like the Sprike App are freely offered (CC BY 4.0). However, donations are appreciated as there are ongoing and recurring incurred costs.

ABOUT THIS BLOG

  • Many of these posts here are specific resources for clients, addressing common issues that they bring to sessions.
  • There is a collection of posts about specific issues of Manual and Movement Therapies, designed as a resource for those involved in this profession, and for those with a responsibility to child development.
  • The gait research is something of a unique opportunity afforded by the confluence of technology and experience. One result of this research is the Sprike App, which may develop into multiple age-appropriate gait training tools and movement-based games. Another is the therapeutic efficacy/tensegrity study.
  • The design and product posts are intended to offer physical products through additive manufacturing and to contribute to the Commons Prior Art, thereby discouraging patent capture where possible.
  • The blog is offered freely as a resource for any Fine Tuning Model for a personalized Osteopathic movement and myofascial maintenance Intelligent Assistant (these are emergent this year – 2024). Some of the posts are abstract/esoteric/overtly technical for this reason.

In general, it is hoped that these offerings help pass along insights I have collected while in practice, especially to those still “cutting their teeth” in this challenging work.

There are ongoing and recurring costs for this work, particularly the Sprike Smartphone App development and the Therapeutic Efficacy/Tensegrity Study.

  • If you derived significant benefit from any of the offerings a donation of any size is much appreciated.
  • If you find that you are using the Sprike App in your movement or manual practice, or are deriving consistent benefits from it or other offerings, a subscription seems appropriate. The app development is an ongoing process – user feedback is encouraged.

These two options to support this work are presented below.
