A Perspective for Assessing and Planning Manual Therapy Treatments.
This model introduces a framework for understanding and applying manual therapy treatments from evolutionary and developmental perspectives. It outlines human behavioral and structural functions within a four-dimensional spacetime context, suggesting that life evolved and humans developed by mastering dimensions sequentially. The model integrates various therapeutic modalities to explain their effectiveness and guide application. It’s influenced by notable researchers like Goodheart, Reich, Damasio, and Masgutova, aiming to dissect human structure/function relationships for therapeutic benefits, enhancing innate behavior regulation, and reducing chronic stress.
The foundational concept underpinning the premise of this paper is the premise of Exaptation. I have a post discussing this concept here: EXAPTATION
